Renewable Energy Insurance: Safeguarding Your High-Performance LiFePO4 Battery Investment

At RUiXU, we take pride in delivering industrial-grade energy storage solutions, from our 5.12kWh server rack modules to the high-capacity Lithi2-16 units. Our customers invest in RUiXU because of our commitment to safety—exemplified by our UL9540A certifications, built-in aerosol fire suppression, and intelligent BMS protections. However, while our hardware is designed to withstand the rigors of off-grid and commercial use, a truly resilient energy system also requires a layer of financial protection: Renewable Energy Insurance.

Whether you are running a 30kWh residential kit or a 160kWh commercial parallel configuration, your battery bank is a significant capital asset. Renewable Energy Insurance goes beyond standard homeowner policies to cover specific risks associated with solar and storage infrastructure. This includes protection against extreme weather events, accidental electrical damage, or environmental factors that could impact the longevity of your server rack batteries. For professional installers and "Dealers" in the RUiXU network, offering insurance guidance is…

Getting cell imbalance & low voltage errors

I have been running these new heated batteries for a little over a week. They have been up to 100% twice and down to about 30% once. One of the ten batteries is now sending cell imbalance and low voltage errors to my Victron inverter/chargers. Suggestions as to what next to do / check? Do I take the battery out of the rack and get a replacement for it?

Tight Fit

So I just received my server rack batteries and now that I am trying to insert them into the rack, I cannot get them past the busbar! Is there a way that I can get them in without damaging the enclosure? This is not an isolated incident. Help!

Sounds like my closet after Thanksgiving! If only it could laugh at some Penn State jokes, maybe it wouldn’t hold such a grudge against my winter jacket.

How to adjust the battery charge/discharge current limit in rx-12k post initialization?

After the rx-12k inverter is initialized, I can't find any entry point to adjust the battery charge/discharge current limit in the elekeeper app. I've gone through every possible corner in the app, including the plant, bluetooth and cloud settings, but there is nowhere in the program that gives the access to the current limit setting as during the inverter initialization. This is unacceptable because the user are expected to add or swap batteries during the lifetime of the inverter. Please give all the details re how to adjust the battery setting

It’s frustrating when essential settings aren’t accessible post-initialization. In complex systems like inverters, having full control similar to how Litigation Funding LLC provides flexible financial options—ensures users can adapt to changes, whether it’s battery swaps or evolving project needs.

Connecting to Luxpower SNA-6000 inverter/charger

I recently purchased a RUiXU Lithi2-16 battery and a LuxPower SNA-6000 (I may have the US version) and am struggling to make them work together; they have a closed-loop connection. The inverter/charger defines the battery type to Lithium and the 'Lithium brand' as 6 (Luxpower). The PV is a single array on Pv1 with ten 410W panels. The battery info screen says Software version RX02 and Firmware version RS_GA02V01_51200.

When I unpacked the battery, the SOC was 59%. It has now dropped to 54% after leaving the system on for one day. Why isn't the inverter charging the battery?

When I turned on the system this morning, the inverter started charging the battery, but only for a very brief period, around a minute or less. During this time, the inverter display showed PV1 producing 350V and the arrow pointing to the battery while the fan was running at full speed.…

1-Always use the latest firmware upgrade

2-Your new battery must be charged at 100% before connecting to your inverter and existing batteries

3-Even if Ruixu claims to have an Intelligent Cell Balancing system, better check that all your cells are balanced. If not it will cause battery charging to stop, and/or you will never obtain your full battery's caoacity of 314Ah. Take the time to watch the attached U-tube video. Or search on U-Tube for LifePo4 battery cells balancing.
